Connect with Humber Indigenous Education and Engagement team
Aanii, Boozhoo! My name is Richard Cochrane, and I am a proud member of CurveLake First Nation. After graduating from the University of Windsor in 2012, I moved to Toronto and fell in love with the big city and currently reside in the downtown area. Each week, I am available to meet at any of Humber’s three (3) campuses located in North Etobicoke (North Campus), South Etobicoke (Lakeshore Campus), and our new
downtown campus at Yonge/Bloor. At Humber Polytechnic (formerly Humber College), I am the Indigenous Student Recruitment Officer and can assist with the following:
Help prospective students find the right program that fits their academic and career goals
Answer detailed questions about the 200+ programs offered at Humber
Admissions process
Indigenous student services and support
Custom campus tours for individual visits or large groups
Residence questions
Financial aid/band funding
Share my experience living in the big city and how Humber helps students adjust to life at postsecondary education (First Year Experience)
